Todays service was something you can’t explain with words, but for your benefit I will try. During the sound check the Lord honored us by flooding the sanctuary with His Presence. Now while we have seen this happen before, it is still shocking. Nobody was really expecting what happened. That kind of God presence that makes your flesh and mind completely useless. The minute I felt Him enter the room I scrambled. and I mean scrambled to turn on the mp3 recorder. My fingers would not do what my mind was telling them and I could barely remember how to turn it on anyway. All I wanted to do was get on my face. His Holiness does that to you. Everything inside of you melts. You forget who you are and you don’t even care. Anyway, I did manage to get it recorded, of course it starts while in progress but here it is, hope it does for you what it did for us. And I pray it starts a hunger in you for more.
You know just when you think you just cannot take another step, just when you are about to tell the lord that what he is asking of you is too much, He shows you that you most certainly are not alone? Then out of the blue, He has April sing ……. “it’s gonna be worth it, it’s gonna be worth it all” from a song by Rita Springer. Below are the words, but the recording is April and she doesn’t really sing the words the same and prophetically adds in what the Lord is saying for the moment, it is the link from May 10, it seems like it stops and starts a lot but there is praying going on in the background you might not be able to hear, keep listening, the Lord will speak to you. Enjoy!

I don't understand Your ways Oh but I will give You my song Give You all of my praise You hold on to all my pain With it You are pulling me closer And pulling me into Your ways Now around every corner And up every mountain I'm not looking for crowns Or the water from fountains I'm desperately seeking, frantic believing That the sight of Your face Is all that I'm needing I will say to You It's gonna be worth it It's gonna be worth it It's gonna be worth it all I believe this It's gonna be worth it It's gonna be worth it It's gonna be worth it all I believe this You're gonna be worth it You're gonna be worth it You're gonna be worth it all I believe this You're gonna be worth it You're gonna be worth it You're gonna be worth it all I believe this |
The Well And Other Great Blessings
I haven’t written since mid-summer of last year. What a time we have had since that time. My first visit to The Well was prior to July of this year. Through the jail ministry I met Jim Raine, the pastor of The Well, and have grown to love him and his family. Many times the enemy has put barriers and obstacles in my way of getting close to men of God who have been called to preach the Gospel. Jim has been solid as a rock, never swaying as many of us do. So many times, we put on fronts to impress others and often lose our guard and we reveal our true selves. As long as I have known Jim, about a year and a half, he continues to be the same today as when I first met him. He is truly a man of God. My prayer is for anyone who is willing to come to the cross of Jesus, to come with a spirit of worship and share your experience we are having at The Well. Keep in mind; we can experience that same worship with God, either alone, or collectively, but I have grown in my worship by being with others who share the same love for Christ. I believe other denominations can, and have, experienced a worshiping experience, but the warmth and receptive spirit is always offered at The Well.
So, in closing, my prayer is for anyone who does not have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, please read God’s Word and find a group of believers that have the knowledge of the Word. You are welcome at The Well. If you have any questions that concern you, Jim & Penny are more than willing to gently and lovingly explain how they have grown into getting close to Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
God Bless,
Ed Ragland
Dear Jim, Penny and family,
The Glory of Christ is being shown during your services at your new church, The Well, in Mt Pleasant, Tennessee. I have had the previlige to experience His presence on so many occasions. The first time that I visited, the Holy Spirit took me to a place of devine peace. I felt His presence as if He was coming down to our worship and then rising up, only to repeat that sense. As Jim has said during our conversations afterward, the Holy Spirit is coming into our presence and fighting off the evil spirits and then returning again to repeat the process.
On another occasion, I have had the previlige to play guitar with your lovely children, April and Beau. While April was singing, I heard other voices coming through the speaker monitors. I was wondering how April was doing this, so I opened my eyes to see if Penny was singing from the back of the church, but she wasn’t. Also, I heard a man’s voice coming from where Beau was playing the drums, but Beau was not singing. Again, Jim and Penny has explained that it’s the presence of Angels from Heaven accompanying our worship.
Lastly, last evening during our worship, several of us heard a bell ring, from which we thought Beau had hit while playing drums. He doesn’t have a bell! After all said and done, my wish is for anyone reading this email is to come and experience it for yourself. Keep in mind, I’m from a Baptist, Church of Christ, Methodist background and it may seem a little strange, but you can feel the peace of God if you allow Him to come into your worship.
Thank your Jim and Penny. May God continue to bless you and your family.
In Christian Love,

While in prayer with Jean Sands on the phone sister Lula began to see a vision, she saw the church known as The Well in the very center of Mt. Pleasant there was a light, a very bright light coming up out of the center going up and out, everything around it looked so dark, there was darkness everywhere, but as the light shone out it began to spread to the whole community and the surrounding communities, affecting everyone. Sister Lula is one of the founding prayer warriors along with the Women’s Aglow group for this area. She does not attend The Well, and has a regular church home that the Lord has called her to.
During the service this evening I was praying and asking the Lord to just drop a bomb of His presence on Mt Pleasant. I don’t know much about bombs but I was seeing a vision of a bomb that appeared to come from the inside out coming up and out and spreading like a giant mushroom. If He visits us, He will be an answer to all prayers!
