The Well And Other Great Blessings
I haven’t written since mid-summer of last year. What a time we have had since that time. My first visit to The Well was prior to July of this year. Through the jail ministry I met Jim Raine, the pastor of The Well, and have grown to love him and his family. Many times the enemy has put barriers and obstacles in my way of getting close to men of God who have been called to preach the Gospel. Jim has been solid as a rock, never swaying as many of us do. So many times, we put on fronts to impress others and often lose our guard and we reveal our true selves. As long as I have known Jim, about a year and a half, he continues to be the same today as when I first met him. He is truly a man of God. My prayer is for anyone who is willing to come to the cross of Jesus, to come with a spirit of worship and share your experience we are having at The Well. Keep in mind; we can experience that same worship with God, either alone, or collectively, but I have grown in my worship by being with others who share the same love for Christ. I believe other denominations can, and have, experienced a worshiping experience, but the warmth and receptive spirit is always offered at The Well.
So, in closing, my prayer is for anyone who does not have a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, please read God’s Word and find a group of believers that have the knowledge of the Word. You are welcome at The Well. If you have any questions that concern you, Jim & Penny are more than willing to gently and lovingly explain how they have grown into getting close to Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
God Bless,
Ed Ragland
